Mr. M. Carl Wheeler, Vols4STEM POC attended the annual meeting of the Coalition of Oak Ridge Retired Employees (CORRE), which was held at the Heritage Fellowship Church in Oak Ridge TN. The Vols4STEM mission discussions took place with CORRE President Dub Shults and Board Members/Slate of officers including Mike Willard and Pete Peterson. Vols4STEM fact sheets were handed out during this discussion. Mr. Wheeler was also interviewed by a member Oak Ridger Newspaper staff. There were several hundred CORRE retirees present at the meeting and there are over 3,400 active members of CORRE.
On November 4, 2010 Mr. Wheeler also attended the sister organization of CORRE, the Alliance of Grandfathered Retirees and Employees (AGRE). At this meeting, additional Vols4STEM information was shared with those present. Several individuals indicated their interest and stated that they would review the Vols4STEM web site.
